@mwittig Thanks, but that 's a shame .
Then I have to wait . With the signal from the BH1750 my blinds are controlled .
Is there somewhere a list of supported and unsupported plugins ?"Really, I'm not out to destroy Microsoft. That will just be a completely unintentional side effect." 09-28-2003, LINUS TORVALDS (http://www.nytimes.com)

Since this seems to be an issue with serialport , maybe an update of the dependencies at the package.json will be enough to solve it for the time being?
But don’t know if this will break other plugins?
So you could try to read out the the sensor via shell command and use a shellsensor? Just my 2cents. Maybe this helps (but is in German only) http://www.netzmafia.de/skripten/hardware/RasPi/RasPi_I2C.htmlpimatic v0.9 has been released!

No, it is not an issue with serialport. It is a base driver for bh1750 written in C++. There is a newer version which compliles OK. There also some more changes required to make the code ready for for pimatic 0.9. I have created a PR with necessary changes. For the time being @Thrusty can trial my for as follows:
sudo npm i mwittig/pimatic-bh1750 --unsafe-perm
"It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.", Hofstadter's Law

@mwittig Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, it seems not to work. I get the following error :

Remove pimatic-ping as you have installed the wrong version!
Generally, it is better to install plugins via frontend at the moment as some plugins are still tagged as betacd /home/pimatic-app/node-modules sudo rm -rf pimatic-ping sudo npm install pimatic-ping@beta --unsafe-perm sudo service pimatic restart
You may see more 'peerinvalid ’ errors from other plugins you have installed. Please post error message here.

@mwittig Unfortunately, that does not seem to be working.

@mwittig
I have delete pushover and pushbullet, and the installation of ping and mwittig/bh1750 was OK.
Tomorow, I will make the next step.
