EDIT: In the home area of openweathermap double click on API key value to select it. When it is is selected press Ctrl-C or Strg-C to copy it. Works fine with FF and Chrome.

Thanks guys. I am pleased it works fine you now. Note, I have also changed the default “timeout” interval for data aquisition from 1 minute to 15 minutes. This is more than enough as the weather data will only be updated every 1-2 hours on the free subscription plan. If an error occurs, e.g., server unreachable, the next cycle starts after 1 min.
