See also my earlier comment. Did you install system updates on your Jessie system?
Another suggestion: cd to the pimatic-homeduino directory and remove the node_modules directory. Install dependencies.
cd /home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-homeduino/ sudo rm -rf node_modules sudo npm install --unsafe-perm

cd /home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-homeduino/ sudo rm -rf node_modules sudo npm install --unsafe-perm
Did this and after restart Pimatic the interface is not working in the browser and I see the menu in plain text with somewhere over the first menu item in the text ‘Permission denied’.
In the log file I see:
Unhandled rejection Error: Cannot open /dev/ttyUSB1
It is all a bit fuzzy for me as an unexperienced user: when installing something (like the suggestion above) cryptic messages rolling over the screen (no errors as far as I can identify, some warnings).
I guess the above action to install dependencies should not mess up the Pimatic browser presentation and interface.
-
Did you delete the directory?
Then you have to restart Pimatic twice. First it will be installed, the second one will enable it.
Then refresh the your Browser.
I had the same… -
The command
sudo rm -rf node_module
does that I believe and did not give an error.I see this.
Pimatic restarted several times and browser also refreshed.Still having the ttyUSB1 error.
In the log file the homeduino 0.9.12 seems to be working now, plugin is loaded and messages are arriving.
-
I think I have it fixed now.
After unplugging the MySensors gateway (ttyUSB1) and plugging it back on again the error message at startup was gone.
After clearing the Chrome browser cache the Pimatic interface still does not work but in Firefox, IE11 and Edge it is working.
Still strange because I always used Chrome for Pimatic.When scrolling down in this text dump I see a logon part at the end.
Submitting my credentials then show me a popup where again I have to submit my credentials and then the user interface is back.
In the url bar of Chrome I see my credentials (I replaced them with ******* below):
http://192.168.1.75/?username=*******&password=*******&rememberMe=on
Strange behaviour. Something with Chrome but how to solve? -
After the update my roller shutters (rohrmotor24) look like this.
And the configuration like this, here are some settings missing
I can’t switch them, no on /off or up / down
All because of Jessi still has no Raspbian stretch. -

cd /home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-homeduino/ sudo rm -rf node_modules sudo npm install --unsafe-perm
After the orders, everything’s fine again. I can switch again
What have I changed with the command done?

Could not initialize the plugin “homeduino”: /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21’ not found (required by /home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-homeduino/node_modules/homeduino/node_modules/serialport/build/Release/serialport.node)
Another thing to try is to install
libstdc++-6-dev
.sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libstdc++-6-dev

Issue with Chrome browser solved by removing and reinstalling Chrome.

@ortin
Did you solve the problem with the shutter3 protocol? If so, how?
I also have the problem that I can’t switch my shutters anymore.
However, I have Homeduino 0.9.18 and pimatic 0.9.52 in the meantime.
I had Homeduino 0.9.12 and then nothing installed. I have started the change only now.
I switched from pimatic 0.9.47 and Homeduino 0.9.11 to the newer versions. But also with node 4.6.2 and npm 2.15.11 before update."Really, I'm not out to destroy Microsoft. That will just be a completely unintentional side effect." 09-28-2003, LINUS TORVALDS (http://www.nytimes.com)

Yes, for me it is working. Did you try to relearn at least one module for test?
-
Yes, I relearned it. But I really don’t know if this was really necessary. Just try one device.

If you need some spare actors contact me. I have some rohrmotor24 wall switches here.
