i try to integrate RPI Cam Control to Pimatic. The RPI Cam Control works without any problems. To see the Camera in pimatic i created an “iframe device” with the URL of my RPI Cam Control- server adress. To send commands from pimatic to RPI Cam Control i write to the FIFO-file of RPI Cam Control. So i can see the camera stream in the pimatic iframe and control it with pimatic. My problem is now, that pimatic is sometimes crashing wihout any useful message (not always!) Has somebody any idea? Is there a better and smarter way to integrate the RPI Cam?
RPI Cam Control integration with Pimatic
we have had a plugin with v0.8 but that was in developing state.
cannot tell you if this is still working with v0.9, but guess the plugin needs a lot of rework

As @leader21 pointed out, using pimatic-rpicam most likely won’t work as it is not suppported by pimatic 0.9 and it has not been touched for a long time.
An alternative maybe to setup a tool to have the camera producing a Motion JPEG (MJPEG or MJPG) stream and to use pimatic-ipcamera to consume and display the stream with pimatic. There are loads of articles on describing how to setup a MJPEG stream for the RPI cam, but I am not sure which one is the best to follow. The following appears to be relatively straightforward: http://blog.cudmore.io/post/2015/03/15/Installing-mjpg-streamer-on-a-raspberry-pi/
