well you can use the switch and connect each of the “phase” to an output of the asun.
then you can decide which one you want to switch on - lets say up button for speed 2 and down button for speed 1.
am not sure how to change the up / down indication.
but you can use a buttons device with speed 1 and speed 2 buttons and 2 rules for this.
it’s not even dangerous since the asun can only switch either speed 1 or speed 2 and never both together. so if you are running on speed 1 and switch on speed 2 via buttons device and rule, it can never switch both speeds on and damage the engine. have a look at the below diagram, this should work :
if you are not sure about it, try this setup first with two lamps for example.
Here’s the example for an buttons device :
First you need to declare the asun switch :
then you need to declar the buttons device :
"name": "HVAC Control",
now you need some rules for the buttons and your dewpoint sensor.
IF button speed1 is pressed THEN lower HVAC down
IF button speed2 is pressed THEN raise HVAC up
IF button stop is pressed THEN stop HVAC
IF dewpoint is > 70 THEN press button speed1 or you can say
THEN lower HVAC down
IF dewpoint is > 90 THEN press button speed2 or you can say
THEN raise HVAC up
i am having several intertechno cmr500 switches running for my blinds and they work the same way - never switch both phases.
the question that remains is how long the asun is switching the speed 1 or speed 2 wire on. my cmr500 are switching off after some minutes so there’s no power on the engine anymore.
the asun manual says on page 33 :
In the neutral position, the contact [COM] is not switched. After an on/off signal from a COCO transmitter, [COM] switches either to the left or the right contact. After 2 minutes, the COM contact switches back to its neutral position
so you are only able to switch on your HVAC for 2 minutes since this is hardcoded within the switch itself! after that you will have to activate the switch again … and again … and again …
if you need longer switching periods you should think about another hardware setup i guess or fiddle something together with rules.
