[Solved]Trying to execute a shell command but I get an error

So I’ve added two virtual buttons to pimatic:

These show up in pimatic, I created a rule with this:

Now how does this work? Because on the readme of shellswitch plugin it says to do it this way

This is what my rule looks like for 1 light to turn on:

Maybe you can work with that?

If you post 
         code, configuration, or log file snippets please use three back-ticks (`) at the 
beginning and the end of the snippet (use extra lines) to format it as a code block. 

If you want to include a code elements as part of a sentence, use a single back-tick before and after element.

EDIT: Use the rule editor to enter the rules. This way you don’t need to worry about esaping special characters.

It’s not the command that does not work (it works if i execute it manually, but I get a parsing error from pimatic on startup.

You need to escape the " with \". The rule Manage things the rule ends at the second ".

This should work:

@Frank-Buurlage You also need to escape the closing curly brace \{ and put a space in front of it. Try the following:

or enter the following in the rule editor

EDIT: replaced “localhost” with “philips-hue.local” on the rule action string above.

@mwittig Sorry, it is perhaps because I have used “localhost” as part of my testing. Please replace “localhost” with “philips-hue.local”

@Frank-Buurlage Just go back to the step where you the log message with the transfer staticstics (% Total % Received …). You can supress this statistics by add option -s to the curl command sequence.
