The received data are equal!
How should homeduino differ between equal transmissions?
But in generally i dont not understand your problem to 100%.
Do you have two remotes?
Do you have two switches? (power plugs)
Can these switches send?
Elro HE852 ID, use multiple devices

The device in question is a window sensor and thrusty has bought a few of these. Unfortunately all devices have the same id.
Replacing the batteries and activating the learning mode did not help change it. We’re not sure whether or not the sensor can send and receive, but most likely it is send-only. I suggested using a switch for the learning mode as the HE800-series switches appear to have a pairing mode implemented with bi-direction communication. Digging through the pilight source I found the follwoing code, but I could bot find anything special. Just the id handling is slightly different.

Ah okay. now i got it.
@Thrusty how many HE852 do you use? Have all the same ID?
I have looked into the Manual and the “Learn button” simply sends only the signal. I think it isn´t possible to change the id of the device.
Eventually you can send it back and order a replacement?

Hi, I have bought five of these switches. Two I have opened and these two have the same ID. Maybe I should the other three still open to check the ID?
I had not yet opened because I suspected that now all have the same ID. Could it be that this is a coincidence in the two open?

I don’t think it is coincidence. Thus I wouldn’t open the other boxes - may be you can return them.
Following our assumption the id is immutable I think it should be printed on the box. If you bought the product from a trustworthy source you may also contact ELRO customer support.

@mwittig I have already written to the ELRO Support. Unfortunately, still no answer.

@ALL: I have the same problem. Have somebody a answar?
actually i guess not. seems as if the IR decoding from homeduino of this sensor has an issue or maybe the sensor needs to be learned to another code first maybe?
did you try to learn another code?

I’m mad. I have learn the Elro HE582 to an Switch and it work fine.
If i am use an other Elro HE582 the Switch will not work(thats correct), but my pimatic will change the state.
Pimatic can not see the different of the Elro HE582, but the Switch will do it.
I’m look at the DebugMode, i can not see the different.
My House Code is the same of the Elro HE582.
