Hi pimatic Community,
I am currently learning C and Java in course of my studies (skills ongoing improvement). Some weeks ago I discovered this great project and started to translate a bunch of tutorials. I am now controlling my lights, rollos and some sockets via pimatic. Because the usage of the rules are quite restricted without accordingly sensors, I want to add some more (ultrasonnic, IR, humidity…).
I decided to use an Arduino for evaluation and communicate with my Raspberry PI. This should be done via Wifi. So I bought an ESP8266 to attach it to my Arduino. At the moment I am using Tasker to set devices or get variables from pimatic. I found some working syntax for that on https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic/issues/347.
Now I try to assume that to my Arduino and ESP8266. Because of my missing knowledge this is quite hard for me. I found some Topics containing communication with the ESP but I dont really get it :D. However, maybe someone could help me solving my issue by posting some working syntax, script or maybe another solution.
I know I should first improve my basics (what I am trying to do), but this drives me crazy.
