@hanss pity that it is not yet running.
Thanks for the hint. If the python code is also not running, It could be really a problem with the firmware. A upgrade is still not possible?

New pimatic tradfri plugin / IKEA Smart Lights
-
@kosta Still no update und the message from Ikea was the usual bla, reset, look at the website.
-
85km to Ikea and back, think about…
Found this, can this cause the problems?
11:21:20.135 [pimatic] Installing: “pimatic-tradfri@0.1.13” from npm-registry.
11:21:33.801 [pimatic, ppm] WARN engine node-mbed-dtls@2.4.4: wanted: {“node”:">=5.0.0"} (current: {“node”:“4.8.2”,“npm”:“2.15.12”}) -
@hanss
i had the same problem.
in my case the version of pimatic was old. I deinstalled the tradfri plugin, updated pimatic and reinstalled tradfri. Its working fine now. -
The warning about the node version can be ignored. It works anyway. Pimatic needs 4.x.
I think it is the firmware. Because the python code also doesn’t work.I tested the plugin only with pimatic 9.
Release notes:
New features and changes in Gateway: 1.1.0015: Stability improvements. Security improvements in Datagram Transport Layer Security.

@kosta it works! It was a network and probably a firmware error . The gateway got an ip and was pingable, but loaded no firmware update. When I played around with a fake update server I noticed that the network led was not blinking. Today I commected the gateway to my brothers cable modem and the update was loaded immediately. Now it works with you plugin.
Hope the update of remote and build works on my router now. -
Got an update of my Gateway. After I restarted Pimatic today I’m getting this error:
error [pimatic]: An uncaught exception occurred: SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input at Object.parse (native) at OutgoingMessage.<anonymous> (/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-tradfri/node_modules/tradfri-coapdtls/tradfri-coapdtls.js:340:37) at emitOne (events.js:82:20) at OutgoingMessage.emit (events.js:169:7) at Agent.handle [as _handle] (/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-tradfri/node_modules/tradfri-coapdtls/lib/agent.js:326:7) at DtlsClientSocket.<anonymous> (/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-tradfri/node_modules/tradfri-coapdtls/lib/agent.js:95:14) at emitOne (events.js:77:13) at DtlsClientSocket.emit (events.js:169:7) at readableAddChunk (_stream_readable.js:153:18) at DtlsClientSocket.Readable.push (_stream_readable.js:111:10) at DtlsClientSocket._onMessage (/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-tradfri/node_modules/tradfri-coapdtls/node_modules/node-mbed-dtls/client_socket.js:89:12) at emitTwo (events.js:87:13) at Socket.emit (events.js:172:7) at UDP.onMessage (dgram.js:506:8) This is most probably a bug in pimatic or in a module, please report it!

I think they have changed the gateway response format. I must debug the problem. I will not have much time until tomorrow in the evening.
