Alphabet’s connected smart home brand Nest is expanding to four new European countries Austria, Germany, Italy, and Spain starting February 15th. Nest products are already available in other European countries such as Belgium, France, Ireland, the Netherlands and the UK.

EDIT: We already had some conversation on Nest asking for pimatic support. There is a plugin project on github but the project has not been released yet and has not been changed for a long time. It is basically just a skeleton which does not seem to do anyting useful. I have contacted the author to check if it is possible to make some progress on this. The author has also written a base library for nest which he is actively maintaining.
