@chris
Can I these devices with the Max! Cube control? Or do I need for a CUL?
What difference is there for this MAX! Heizkörperthermostat, 99017A0? Aside from the price.

If you click the link and read:
Dient zur Regelung von Heizkörpern in Verbindung mit dem max! cube LAN Gateway und/oder dem max! Wand Thermostat+
The difference is:
if you want i can make some picture in the evening…

So it looks like both have the same features?
Much longer than the 99017A0 is the 142016A1? I read it would be too long.
Then is better the Big.

THX for the Infos, because i have the same problem right now. And if it works with the 20€ Version even better.
I also have everything at home for building a nanoCUL, but because of our twins we have got three months ago i never had the time.
BTW till now i use the Honeywell HR20 and they suck, no RF and they are unreliable as hell.
I read a bit through the forum and simply for the other possibilities homematic seems to be much better (more other devices). But from the pimatic side MAX! should be the way to go, am I right?
I am currently testing a Fritz! thermostat and I’m not totally pleased with this so I want to test something else.
I’m also looking for possibilities to control 2 thermostats. MAX seems to be a preferred solution with pimatic, but if I read the reviews on Amazon, a lot of problems occur with the current software on this device (forgets connected controllers, e.g.)
Do you see those problems with pimatic as well?
Are there any other possibilities?
Using 2x Max!Thermostat + with 2x Window-Sensors and the MaxCube since one week now and works fine.
I Still think about using maxcul to take the cube out of the equation but didn’t find the time yet to build one.

I’m using 6 MAX! thermostats over max!-cube with pimatic since over a year now without bigger problems.
Most problems I have is, log entrys with 1…3 disconnects over the week, but auto reconnect w/o problems later.
Max! Thermostats itself are quite cheap and sometimes a bit loud when moving to reference position for example. I have 2 Plus thermostats whitch are a bit better, have better display with more info, but work all the same.
Shure the original MAX! software for PC is rather bad, but can not say it’s unusable. You can still use Auto mode (even when connected to pimatic) and let the schedule from Max! software control the temp and time settings over the week. These informations are stored inside the devices, same with connections between wall thermostat/display and window cotacts. Inside pimatic you can switch over to manual mode an let the rules do your own stuff at any time.
The only thing is: you can’t use both software at the same time! For the moment you like to change the settings /schedule inside MAX! devices you have to stop pimatic connection to the cube.
I also wish to test with a CUL instead of the cube, but have to use a own scheduler then and need time to do so.
