ok it’s hard to tell (at all) without any more information.
first is there some debug output?
did you change anything on the hardware or software side?
and maybe check the psu if it’s faulty!
pimatic v0.9 has been released!

Thought the bug was gone however just couple of minutes ago another timeout.
Same error message as https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic/issues/645
I can remember i never had this issue with wheezy linux.

Sometimes couples times a day. sometimes couple of time per week… now running the system for more then a day.
I also had that problem just not that often as you.
I changed my Arduino, RF sender/receiver, USB cable, power adapter and finally the Raspberry itself.
After that I gave up, I now switched to an ESP https://github.com/pimatic/homeduino-esp8266-node
It receives all RF and send it over wifi to pimatic. Sending is still done bij pimatic/homeduino.
I disabled the RF receiver in pimatic and no more timeouts.

Same here. Replaced the arduino, usb cable, power adapter and RF sender/receiver.
How does teh ESP works? you still using a arduino? new for me.
ESP is just a repeater, every RF signal it receives get’s send via WIFI to pimatic.
arduino is only on the pi for sending with homeduino
@sweetpi added an API key to homeduino, this key can be set in pimatic config.

My config looks like this
{
"plugin": "homeduino",
"driver": "serialport",
"driverOptions": {
"serialDevice": "/etc/USB0",
"baudrate": 115200
},
"enableReceiving": false,
