I have obtained a Neets Sierra 2 (see neets DOT dk) control panel device and i’m using it now in my house as a button panel . It provides 3 IO contacts to switch things on and off. It can also send RS232 commands using 2 RS ports and by its LAN port.
Since i already have a multicore control cable running from the pimatic PI to the location for my temperature sensor and heating contacts and i had 4 wires left, I used the IO ports to trigger actions in Pimatic.
I can now trigger an action by closing or opening a contact.
Pimatic can also trigger an action when a contact is closed or opened for x seconds (handy for unstable closure situations).
Now I was thinking if it could be somehow possible to trigger multiple actions, just by letting the contact closed for different amounts of times.
Example: when IO1 is closed for 2 seconds and then opens, my tv turns on. When IO1 is closed for 4 seconds and opens it turns off. When IO1 is closed for 6 seconds and opens the tv turns on for 30 minutes. When IO1 is closed for 8 seconds and opens, the tv turns on for 60 minutes (handy to prevent children watching tv too long )
I tried this, but Pimatic triggeres all the actions when i close the contact for 8 seconds and opens it.
Is this somehow possible right now?
