Homeduino - crash every day after few hours

Did someone consider that this could be a power problem? The Pi can be sometimes a little bit unstable about the USB power.
If you are using an 1.2A power supply, consider to try a 2A power supply. (most new smartphones have them)

Noxx hardware should be ok. Pi2, psu with 2A, 3400rf (see first post from this threat)

Oh okay. Somehow I didn’t read about the psu, sorry.

don’t know, just giving my two cents … listening to rf transmissions comes at first place, then sending, as far as i was told.

Changed yesterday from 10sec to 20sec -> homeduino (not pimatic, webgui works) crash after 6 hours.
i must wait for my new arduino.

Got the same problem when i use an arduino…so i switched back to the gpio’s of the pi and it works. When i install wiringpi for the dht22 sensor plugin, my arduino homeduino didnt send a signal too.

Maybe you use the gpio’s till the arduino arrives.

so, since yesterday 4:00 runs now the new Arduino Nano with CH340G Chip.
-> no crashes

16 hours stabil, my new record

For other pimatic-neerds, i use this one now:

With the ftdi nano you can tinker around a bit. There are nice arduino projects.

that’s what I said above ftdi chipsets can cause trouble.
However go for a ch340 nano and try again …
You can also use an UNO or mega or even other arduinos. But the nanos are mostly the cheapest and smallest solution. If you use another arduino you will have to change the board tag in the Makefile.

I had now a Arduino Uno.

For arduino uno your Tag is ok!
Have a closer look at the homeduino tutorial that’s quoted in your above threat. You will find all information about flashing homeduino to an arduino there.
But as I said, board_tag is ok for an uno.

You can see all supported hardware when using the command make show_boards at the command line in the homeduino directory

THX, UNO works fine. Not with the many problems that had with the nano.

Now i must look for free Pins, i will also use the Motor shield.
