Can you send a photo of the wiring. I had the same timeout problems after switching to arduino.
-try to reinstall the homeduino plugin
-if you have a dht22 Sensor on Raspi GPIO, test without the sensor and uninstall the DHT plugin.
[Solved] Ooops timeout, after switching vom GPIOs to Arduino Nano implementation.

thanks but “production” did not solved it

there is nothing on raspi GPIOs.
i´ll try to reinstall homeduino.
I have the same problem
the reinstall didn´t solved it
now its even worse than before. now it looses the connection after 10 minutes.
i installed the whole raspberry and pimatic from scratch and everythin worked for hours, but now i have this error:
error [pimatic-homeduino]: TimeoutError: operation timed out at afterTimeout (/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-homeduino/node_modules/homeduino/node_modules/bluebird/js/main/timers.js:11:15) at timeoutTimeout (/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic-homeduino/node_modules/homeduino/node_modules/bluebird/js/main/timers.js:53:9) at Timer.listOnTimeout [as ontimeout] (timers.js:110:15)
21:44:09error [pimatic-homeduino]: Couldn’t connect to homeduino device: operation timed out.
what could be the problem ?
thank you
maybe @sweetpi has a clue what went wrong?

Stupid question, is the sd card full? I have tried to reinstall it yesterday and could not connect, because the sd card was full and there were some missing files from homeduino because of the full sd. After makeing some spCe of the sd card i reinstall it and all ork fine.
@p4co86 no only 23 % of 16 Gig are used .
Ok i think i got it.
Was my fault. My arduino and raspi are both in a old thinclient case and this got inside metal. The arduino pins lied on this metal and were connected.
Now i fixed it with “hot glue”.
Thanks all for your help!
