For me restarting the light (or pimatic) didnt work.

I got hex working, but you have to input it without a # (because argparse for some reason thinks its a comment then I guess), you can checkout my gist.
I will propably update it in the next few days with readability changes and add some more functionality to it.
Feel free to add to it yourself tho and let me know if you do!

I really like that I am able to pass multiple actions to it in one go and work them off in order of cli args, as I didn’t want rules with many execute actions calling the same script.

Currently my main use for it is making my Yeelight follow my Phillips Hue Ambiance for wich I got a Dimmer Switch:

Off:
when state of Hue Ambiance equals off then execute "/usr/bin/python3 /home/pi/pimatic-app/scripts/yeelight-cli.py -a 10.0.0.66 --off"

On:
when state of Hue Ambiance equals on or when $b2.ct changes or $b2.dimlevel changes then execute "/usr/bin/python3 /home/pi/pimatic-app/scripts/yeelight-cli.py -a 10.0.0.66 --on --brightness $b2.dimlevel --hue-color-temperature $b2.ct"
