Lifesmart LS160 Cololight
Hello everyone,
I got me a new led light from LifeSmart a few weeks ago.
Yesterday arrived the package from china. I must say it is a really good and cheap alternative to the “Nanoleave” lamps.

Now I would like to control the lamp via pimatic. Does anyone have any experience with the manufacturer or the lamp?

That would be a nice and inexpensive gadget.
If it is possible to safety open the LifeSmart Basic module, then you may be able to see if the Wifi module is an ESP8266. If so, then there is the possibility that this LifeSmart can be operated by tasmota. Then you would have to open an issue on tasmota Github.
But whether tasmota is able to see the color control as in youtube videos is questionable.

@Thrusty I haven’t looked closely at the base module yet. I’ll try to open it.
I asked the manufacturer for a SDK today. There is a mode in the app to communicate locally between iPhone and lamp without using a cloud. I was already able to record the UDP packages, but I don’t get the information yet…
Is here an expert in decoding such Wireshark protocoll elements?
