@sweebee: I’ll at least replace the UISwitch with a custom UI control with a bigger hit area
@thymian: Developer account sounds great. If I’ve something for testing I’ll contact you.

[Mockup] Apple Watch App
-
I’ve extended the framework test app with a simple Apple Watch test app.
It connects to the pimatic demo server by default.
Functions:- display first attribute of a device with template ‘device’
- display and switching of a device with template ‘switch’
- all other devices are ignored
- live updates
- tested with simulator, no watch yet
@thymian: I’ve updated the develop branch with the Watch app. Can you give it a try to see if it works on a watch? The server url and credentials are hardcoded in InterfaceController.m(willActivate) if you want to change it.
@sweetpi: How do you map a device to an ui control except using the template property? Do you have the actions hardcoded for a given template like always calling turnOn/turnOff for a switch? Or do you have some generic algorithm like investigating the type of attribute and finding an appropriate action?

@dif Really nice, can’t wait for a iOS app
-
i cant wait for a android app
-
@dif i had little time last days, will hopefully try it tomorrow. I never installed demo apps on my ios devices before. I guess it will take some hours to figure out how.
Any tutorials/videos u suggest me to learn it faster?
edit: ehm where exactly can i find the develop branch (of which github repo)?
-
@thymian: Do you have any experience with Xcode? If not it’s much easier, if you send me(dif@difdev.de) the UUID of your iPhone(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJppx4Wc-GI) and I’ll generate a version which you can install using iTunes.

Any news about the apple watch app? I’m also interested in to have one

@chris321 Sorry Chris, no app available yet. I’ve worked on the iOS App first and reached a state where control of most devices was possible. Then unfortunately I’ve got multiple parallel projects in my job -> no time to work on my private projects during the last 2 month
I hope to continue with the work in October
