country : DE state : BW id : device_plugin_holidaysensor_holiday name : Ferien class : HolidaySensor
Any clue?
-
Hi,
i just tried in my testsystem…My config:
{
“country”: “DE”,
“id”: “holiday”,
“name”: “holiday”,
“class”: “HolidaySensor”,
“state”: “BW”,
“debug”: true
},When Debug is enabled i see the following output:
17:14:23.116 [pimatic-holidays] debug true
17:14:23.122 [pimatic-holidays] country DE
17:14:23.125 [pimatic-holidays] state BW
17:14:23.139 [pimatic-holidays] actualdate 2017-12-25
17:14:23.167 [pimatic-holidays] holidayname variable: 1. Weihnachtstag
17:14:23.168 [pimatic-holidays] holidaytype variable: public
17:14:23.168 [pimatic-holidays] istodayholiday: { date: ‘2017-12-25 00:00:00’,
17:14:23.168 [pimatic-holidays]> start: 2017-12-24T23:00:00.000Z,
17:14:23.168 [pimatic-holidays]> end: 2017-12-25T23:00:00.000Z,
17:14:23.168 [pimatic-holidays]> name: ‘1. Weihnachtstag’,
17:14:23.168 [pimatic-holidays]> type: ‘public’ }
17:14:23.168 [pimatic-holidays] presencevalue: trueThe variables are looking good…
Could you try to enable debug and see what’s the result?
Please restart pimatic when checking the debug option. You are on version 0.0.3, right? There was an issue in the previous versions.
Best regards

@thex-at I restarted my Pi and now everything is fine…I will have a look on it
-
Is there a possibility to suppress the notification popping up every second?
-
Hi Hanss,
this only happens when “debug” is active…I’ll try to change this behavior in the next version…
best regards
Stephan -
Hi hex-at,
had to restart pimatic a second time after switching debug off.
Now it works.
Is it correct, that the presence circle is not filled? The variable is true. -
The circle should be filled.
Try to refresh the site in your Browser (F5) -
Don’t know what I have done, now the circle is filled…

having a question regarding the holidays - does the device only show up public holidays or are you able to even show school holidays?
today it’s like that and were having school holidays all over in Germany
would be great to have something like that - since my kids don’t like to have their blinds opened early in the moring when it’s school holidays ^^

yes only public holiday taht was also my fault to think it doesn’t work. See my github issue thet he can implement ics parser. I have solved it right now with a bash script but i can’t programm node.js so I can’t help with nod.js but there a differnet parsers in the npm should be easy

HI,
regarding the school holidays question. As the plugin at the moment relies on the “date-holidays” library it only supports public holidays for now.I wrote the plugin for exactly the same reason. Not getting woken up by the automatic blind control when not needed…
I’d also like to have some other dates in there so i already thought of integrating some kind of ics parser to be more flexible. And as there are ics files for school holidays available it would fulfill your request too then.
So it’s on my list of todos and i’m trying to find some time to implement it.
Thanks for using my plugin and i’ll keep you up to date in the forum…regards
Stephan
