At this moment i read my energy (KWH) with mysensors but this month i get a smartmeter. I would like to use the smartmeter plugin to measure kwh and m3 gas on a second rpi1 because my head rpi3 is to far away. I have a switch/router on that place. What is the easiest way to read the values?
I read on the forum that it is easy to use pimatic on the other rp1 and they communicate on the network .
For 2 Pi’s just install pimatic on both and use the API to update the other.

There is also something like API but i dont know how to use this. Can someone explane me how to do this.
