[Solved] Doorbell Select Plus

Hi,

I bought this cheap wireless doorbell system at the action store. I am trying to get the doorbell button as a trigger in pimatic but it is an unsupported protocol. This is the code I receive in debug mode:

Is it possible to implement this in a new protocol? I’ve tried editing some existing protocols but no luck so far…

Maybe it can be of any help but it seems like someone has built a plugin to get the doorbell working in Nodo: http://www.listenlive.nl/blog/2015/01/SelectPlus

Interesting protocol. It dosen´t use a Manchester coding.
The data is transmitted raw.

I will implement it as contact or pir protocol.

I also have that type of doorbel. But the protocol is not recognized
Question, do i have to update the pimatic-arduino plugin or do i have to update the software on the arduino for this to work?

It works like a charm! The doorbell push is received properly!

I also buy a doorbell (adeo) this morning, it is received by pimatic like this

I am able to “see” in pimatic when the door bell is activated but i can’t trigger the doorbell from pimatic
any clue?

Your door bell used a different protocol. It is 50 bit raw long and not 36.
Should i or you implement a new protocol. I have my dev system running already at the moment.

How often receives pimatic the rf message?

Then it is possible that pimatic repeats the message to often.
You can in the plugin section of homeduino define how often the message is repeated.

@jarnoglenn How did you get this to work?
I have the same doorbell and I can receive the pir-output in debug mode.
I added the HomeduinoRFPir lines to the config, but I can’t figure out how to let pimatic send the signal to ring the doorbell. I tried rules like “if […] then switch on pir4”, but this does not work. Can you help me out?

A send function isnt implemented at the moment.
Do you need this?

@Icesory . A send function would be very nice (so not a PIR but a CHIME). This way I could ring the bel at the backdoor if someone is at the front door. (Very handy if i’m in the garden and the postman rings to deliver some chinese packages

Yes, a send function would be very nice indeed! I can’t hear the front door bell when i’m upstairs, so i want to repeat the signal there.
