Hi everyone.
Just created a PH probe and temp sensor in 1 sketch made @Cryonic90
Im able to capture the temp in pimatic but not the ph value.
Can anyone create a update for this sensor?
I can send the sketch if required.

@sweebee
Are you able to update the plugin?
@stingone
Would be interesting to have the code.
Especially since i am planing to create a pool sensor for the summer time
pimatic v0.9 has been released!
Support Pimatic and get some free stickers

Hi, yes I can add a device for that. Could you show your sketch here? So I know what it sends and needs.

I can send you the sketch no problem. I bought a industrial PH probe incl PH meter combined on 1 arduino with a Dallas temp sensor for less then 65 dollar
Here is the sketch. Got the feeling that both are send on child 0 as i only get the temp in pimatic on sensor id 0 whilst i have set it for the temp on 1. but the monitor give both values fine.
Here data from the monitor
Thx, I’ll add it tomorrow to the plugin. And I will notify you when it’s working
Many thanks can i finally use it for my aquarium.
it would be great if you would share your mysensors-project with your Sketch, partslist and some pictures and little Tutorial here
https://forum.pimatic.org/topic/1651/share-your-mysensors-project
@xCite86 Will do
thank you, i’m looking forward to reading it… and maybe reconstruct it for my growhouse
the opensource software calles “Fritzing”…
parts you could found via Google
is a good start for arduino setups
Thanks now updating the how-to.
I’m working on the device, but presenting S_WATER is kinda weird because its meant for volume and flow.
I can add it now, but in the future (pimatic v0.9) there is an auto discovery for devices. If you present this device, it will see it as a water pulse meter. So you have to add it manually.
Edit: Maybe you should present it as S_CUSTOM for now?
I’ve added it to the dev branche. Could to test it?
Open the terminal and install the git dev branch:
cd /home/pi/pimatic-app/
npm install https://github.com/DheerajKhajuria/pimatic-mysensors.git
Device:
{
"id": "phmeter",
"name": "pHmeter",
"class": "MySensorsPH",
"nodeid": 99,
"sensorid": 1,
"batterySensor": true
}
You should change S_WATER to S_WATER_QUALITY. (supported in MySensors 2.0 beta)

Will test it tomorrow morning today my birthday… i managed to get the value in pimatic with a multisensor using the sensortype = 24 that is defined as V_VAR1 in the arduino sketch.
"class": "MySensorsMulti",
"id": "ph_aquarium",
"name": "PH Aquarium",
"attributes": [
{
"name": "var1",
"nodeid": 2,
"sensorid": 0,
"type": "float",
"sensortype": 24,
"acronym": "PH"
}
]
},```
happy Birthday, stingone
