@disaster install pimatic-led-light. It has a RGB color picker in it.
I’m also in for a RGB base device, that other plugins can inherit from.
@developer whats about moving the pimatic-led-light colorpicker to the core?

Yeah, i’m talking about
https://github.com/philip1986/pimatic-led-light/blob/master/devices/base.coffee
and

Take I would welcome that. Doing right at MQTT Dimmer .
But, for me, it is inconvenient to adjust color in two steps, like in pimatic-led-light. It’s uncomfortable. A design this Picker is not much.

I like the color picker from Blynk (ZERGBA):

My two cents:
Before adding RGB base device we
For Hue white mode you may want to control the color temperature. For Milight a RGB color picker does not make sense at all imho as Milight does not allow for controlling the saturation of colors. So, for Milight a simple color slider like the following fits better. https://jsfiddle.net/WittigMarcus/p0xw0jks/

For something like hue you have multiple options:
@wutu
is this your pimatic gui?? Looks great
pimatic + MySensors + Homeduino + z-way

The colorpicker @philip1986 has made looks the business. Would be great if we can incorporate this into pimatic as a base device!

Which one? Are you referring to the release or to philip’s current contribution on https://github.com/philip1986/pimatic-led-light/pull/52 ? Note, the released UI has some issues which had been discussed on the forum.

should have consolidated and agreed design for the color picker. @philip1986 is currently working on a new color picker. Please review
The new version is cool. It would be nice, if this could sliders displayed permanently.
should define different types of LED base devices, i.e. RGB, RGBW, WW/CW. Even this still does not provide the perfect fit for Hue and Milight.
I do not think to associate RGB with another channel is a good thing.
See my new ceiling lights.
