For actuators is a different story ofc, because you don’t need batteries.
Allready mentioned a couple of times : a ESP can live up to 3 months when waking up every 10 minutes. Why would I use MySensors if you can make it from scratch with en ESP.
You are right about batterytime. When you external power the PIR, and let the PIR wake the ESP it would still power up a lot of times (depending on where the PIR is located and how much movement there is).
Now that RF is working on the ESP i have build-in the homeduino-esp8266-node in ESPimatic , so the next version will be able to receive RF and retransmit to Pimatic for further investigation.
