I have this set of 3 Eurodomest kaku outlets from the Action, and the homeduino 433 solution with Arduino Nano and Geeetech superheterodyne 3400 receiver and transmitter. Both receiver and transmitter have a 17 cm long antenna.
Switching on these outlets is no problem, but switching off sometimes does not work.
I have tried already replacing the RPI, but up to know it is not stable.
Does anyone have a good idea ?

Most of the times this happens when you send to fast, RF listens to all signals.

Mmm, not all the time. But I can try to put at least several minutes in the different rules.

I did some tests this morning:
switching unit 3 on: nothing.
switching unit 3 off and on again: response.after 1-2 seconds
switching unit 2 on: nothing.
switching unit 2 off and on again: response after 1-2 seconds
switching unit 1 on: response within millisecondsI have never had problems with unit 1, always first time right and quick response. Even within one second.
Unit 2 and 3 always give some problems. My first idea was that the position of the transmitter could be related. But unit 3 is now only 2-3 meters away from the transmitter. If I do this test again within a short period it will be fine (still with the delays). but after a couple of hours same thing will happen. It looks as if unit 2 and 3 need to wake up first.I myself I’m thinking of giving unit 2 and 3 different Id’s with both unit number 1.
Or changing my rules and repeat the on /off command after a few seconds.
But all in all, I still find this behavior very strange.
Does anyone have a good or better idea? -
I have 6 eurodomest units in use and in my experience there’s a great variety in quality. Some of them work perfectly within 15 meters of my pimatic setup, but some of them are limited to 3 or 5 meters distance to be working. That’s without using an additional antenna btw
The behaviour of a delayed response however, I don’t recognize. In my situation it is working, or it is not

I have one in use for my outside light, in my rules I switch it off and after 5 minutes send another off.

If it is the Eurodomest hardware that has variety in quality, than I might going to test this by swapping two outlets and teach them both to use the other unit number. That should indicate if it is software or hardware problem.

I do have some switches into room corners with wooden closets and glass (mirrors and windows bad for signal) and other stuff standing in the way probably creating bad signal and resistance. ON works fine OFF not always to. I’m going to open these switches to get a better look inside and try some other antennas or antenna extending or get the antenna outside the switch to try to solve this problem.
I experienced best results having the raspberry with transmitter hanging free (not onto the floor) halfway against a plasterboard/drywall at a thermostat level. Im going to test these antennas

I switched unit 1 and 2 and gave unit 3 another Id. They all worked fine for one day.
Now only unit 1 (old unit 2) is still working. For the other two, it seems they have died
This is very anoing. Because I swapped two, I don’t think it is the hardware. A problem with antenna is also not likey, because unit 3 is only a few meters away from the transmitter.
I wish I could find a solution before we go on holiday… -
Latest status: changed possition of transmitter/receiver and made sure that the antenna’s are free from anything for 10-20 cm. And changed rules where switch commands are repeated for two extra times with 5 seconds in between. Now it seems more stable…
