Hi all,
i want to use pimatic-location plugin, to detect my iphones.
but i don´t want to enter my icloud credentials in the config.
is there another way to do this ? exists any app to send the location of the phone to pimatic ?

You can try to install http://owntracks.org/ and an MQTT broker such as Mosquitto and then use pimatic-simple-mqtt but frankly pimatic location does a much better job in my opinion.

it’s working without the need of icloud credentials, check my other posts to see how you can make it working.After using this app few days, i switched to the icloud way and i am a happy user now

ok, thank you all,
now i´m using the plugin with credentials.
the update is set to 1h but i think it´s more frequently updated because my iphone battery is verry verry quckickly on a minimal level. and the “GPS-logo” is about every 5 minutes on the homescreen.“iCloudInterva l”: 3600000
but i did not configured : Interval, Interval limit and Priority.
should i configure this in the pluginsection of config.json ?thank you
