Hi all,
switching back to arduino solution shows the same behaviour as before…
No lights are switched onI can’t see anything beeing wrong in my current setup.
Also changing the tranciever pin may not solve the problemNow I am thinking about buying a new arduino? Any suggestion why receiving works weather sending does not work?

Do you have an LED and Resistor laying arround?
You could connect these to your transmitter pin. The LED should flicker while sending. -

The only thing I think about at the moment is the protocol of the 433Ghz.
I had some problems with the pulse length of the protocol for switch4 (which i am using) and with my hardware switches from HomeEasy. See: https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic/issues/476Is there any possiblity that the arduino solution uses different settings / protocolls than the PI-only solution?
Where does the arduino gets the “codes” from, are they send via serial conection from the PI to the arduino?Thanks for any more help!

I also tried to add a condensator to the sender in order to have more current available… but I won’t solve the problem.
No suggestions anymore? I am out off any more ideas…

Today i received an other arduino mini, but it won’t solve my problem.
How can I change the repeates or the pulse of the choosen switch protocol?
Which sourcecode do I need to change?

Hi, I now just tried to get my arduino working with a simple program over windows and the arduino software. But I had problems with the driver installation. I had a look on google and found this: http://blog.sengotta.net/arduino-nano-wird-nicht-erkannt-was-tun/
It says that there may be different drivers needed as the arduino may use a different usb / serial converter. As I installed drivers for the CH340 the arduino works on windows.
May this also affect the homduino - arduino configuration in any way?

with the ch340 there have no appreciable issues been reported.
have you tried to set up another sd-card with a clean install?pimatic v0.9 has been released!

Do you mean a complete setup of the PI? Or of the arduino?
I have not done a complete setup of the PI as the PI only solution works and only the arduino solution shows problems. But I may try to resetup the PI today…=> Just to let you know: Reinstallation of PI and Pimatic won’t solve the problem at all…
I hate those errors. I have no clue how to trace down this behaviour…Any other hints on this problem?
The only thing I see is to change the hardware switches and do not use a Home Easy product… -

I re-checked everything with the PI-only solution and it works fine.
Changing back to the PI-arduino solution only receiving works…Can anyone explain me where the difference is in sending?

Just another short update without solving the problem…
Today a bought some other hardware-switches, but I have the same problem. Receiving works fine, but sending does not work via the arduino…Any help would be appreciated!

maybe a ch341 problem.
i had the same and other problems mit arduino nano clones. 433mhz receive/send working for many minutes and then the connection still alive (no error @ pimatic) but the sending or receiving not working until restart pimatic.
switching back to genuine arduino nano (same wiring, only change wire from breadboard to nano) and its work without problems. For now i’m using a genuine Uno with a selfmade shield ontop (433mhz receiver + transmitter)

thanks for your reply and your hint. It opened up my mind and I had some research on google.
… and I learned something new and even updated my PI kernel to 4.1.4 but all won’t solve the problem at all…But one good news at the end of the story, today I received a new 433Mhz Sender and Receiver and now I works!!!
