Send Mail by Rule not working anymore

I use the plugin mail 0.8.6 with transport smtp and a gmail.acount.
Since some days it doesn’t work anymore. The error message in the log is
"Error on evaluation of rule condition of rule test-2: Invalid login Username and Password not accepted. Learn more at
https://support.google.com/mail/?p=BadCredentials …
Sending mails directly on command line doesn’t work either.
Please can someone help? I am not an expert.

I solved the problem by creating an app password for my gmail account and take this instead of the password in the plugin settings. https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en

@heizelmann This works fine for me also, having the same problem. After reconfiguring mail plugin, I first did not restart pimatic … but after restarting anything works fine. Many Thanks!
