Hi @bertreb, maybe these problems yesterday evening go in a completely other direction!
You already were wondering about what was in one of the logs…
Having the Dev environment running again over night, I was just giving it a try to steer the shutter device
But the web-frontend of Pimatic wasn’t available any longer…
Restarted Pimatic, but situation stays. Looked into the log, but there it was nothing in about the entire starting process, what normally, to my reminds, should be the case.
Tracked then the status via console ($ service pimatic status) and recognized, that the status is completely un-stable.
Pimatic is always trying to restart, but in the end fails:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo service pimatic status
● pimatic.service - Pimatic home automation framework
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/pimatic.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: activating (auto-restart) (Result: exit-code) since Sat 2021-03-06 10:52:29 CET; 1s ago
Process: 10103 ExecStop=/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic/pimatic.js stop (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS
Process: 9866 ExecStart=/home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic/pimatic.js start (code=exited, status=0/SUCCES
Main PID: 9896 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)
Mär 06 10:52:29 raspberrypi systemd[1]: pimatic.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
So it might be the case, that by all our testings, somewhen the installation might have went corrupt or the SD card is starting to die, … already had that in the past and the first effects of this also guided me in a complete wrong direction …
However, I will set up a new installation the next days and report again.
