Is somebody else here, how gets a “Nora is currently offline” responses from GH after a voice command related to a pimatic hosted device? It happens pretty often. Sometimes just for a moment which cause no problems, but from time to time it is off for some minutes:

Today over noon it was not usabl. Nothing works.
On the pimatic UI I can see often, that the devices of the AssistentDevice gets “found” often.
Debug is on so is not the question why it is shown but why it gets triggered to be shown. I think its due the reconnections which happens so often. -
As you noticed the Nora service is not stable lately.
When the connection to the Noraserver fails/disconnects, the assistant plugin (using Nora) is trying to reconnect every 5 minutes.
Can you see what the reconnect frequency is?
I removed the annoying message in version 0.2.14 -
NoRa is offline again. It has been for a couple of days. Does anyone have an idea of what is the status and if they are fixing it?

Nora has been unstable for some time. The Nora builder is working on an alternatieve ‘nora-smart’. As soon as that is available for integration, i will do an attempt to change pimatic-assistant to nora-smart.
I don’t know the planning but a lot of people are waiting for this. -
There are now instructions available to setup an own NoRa instance at https://github.com/andrei-tatar/nora-service.
It would be nice to make the NoRa URL configurable in the pimatic plugin. -
I’m currently trying. Not sure if I will get it up and running. Rather complex.

Its not easy to setup. If you succeed, you can easily change the url in pimatic-assistant.coffee (line 62).
If that works i will add the configurable urli managed to setup my own heroku instance with it. There are two lines in the script which I needed to adjust: line 62 and line 33.

i configured the Google Actions and set a name there. It shows up with a label [test] and I suppose it’s currently only visible to my account. If you want to, we can try to add you as a alpha or beta tester to see if it’s possible that you use my heroku instance, too.

You may add me to your heroku instance. But i assume there’s still some linked to my own google account needed. And for that i need to login to your Heroku instance and get a token?
