Customize - ioBroker.pimatic

Hey Guys,

is some one of you not a no0b like me in javascript and can Customize “ioBroker.pimatic” for me?

In the moment its only gets devices from Pimatic and snyc them with Iobroker, that works fine. So if you switch something in Pimatic it will be instand also in the switched-state in Iobroker and this also the other way around.

But i need / would that it also gets all Variables that are not “readonly true” and showed them in a new “folder” in Iobroker “variables” it should it also sync.

It must be something in the main.js like the “function syncDevices”. i tried my self to understand the script but i dont get it , im totally confused how there get the Data and what data there get And i think the original Dev to not maintain it anymore.

Maybe but there use somehow the Pimatic RESTapi so i think i try my luck here I need Iobroker as middleware between OpenHAB(controlls my ZwaveStuff) and Pimatic (Controlls everything)

What happens if you create a variables device in Pimatic, add variables and add the variables device in ioBroker?

@bertreb Variables Devices are in Iobroker already but the variables it self are “readonly” in iobroker and when you set them to write and set a new value it will not sync´t to pimatic.

Thats the reason why i change the variables at moment via “javascript blocky with BASH Curls” and the “Switches” from the Motion-Devices are just linked over Blocky from Openhab to Pimatic.

So you want the variables to be synced and writeable in Pimatic and ioBroker?

@bertreb yep. My goal is that i have my Custom-Variables from Pimatic in Iobroker for example for temperatur so that i can say in Iobroker “When Openhab-Device1-Temperatur changes -> Change Pimatic Variable to value of Openhab-device1”

Thats my Custom solution over blocky with Curl… but now i have JS-files with my Login unencrypted and its a pain in the Ass to set this up if you have 6x Mutlisensors

Its a first shot, but you could try to change the following in main.js

In the original script a number isnt converted to state.val. The last else should go 1 level less deep.

frist BIG THANKS … but i think it changes nothing … no new devices and the when i try to change a Value of a VariablesDevice it will just say in the Log “its Readonly” … i think its because a varaibles devices will create other variable that is readonly

But i think i must be the right way because with the old and new Main.js you will find this in the Iobroker Log:

Hi, i got iobroker running and the pimatic adapter. An example of the info I can get, and i see numbers.

I logical i can’t change the numbers because they come from a sensor. I will try a variable

I can also get all devices and there values. i can also set sates(on/off), set temp of heatings, etc… But not change variables.

When i change one of custom variables in pimatic, it will be also instantly synct in iobroker because ioborker syncs that variables device but not the variable itself. its just a oneway road and i need it in both directions.

The problem is that the shown variables from for example a heatsensor or variables device are then “attributes” of the device in pimatic and you cant change them in pimatic and so also not via iobroker because its against the pimatic Logic to modify “attributes”.

This iobroker adapter is build to get devices so how its designed it is working fine. But in my opinion its incomplete without writeable/custom variables…so there wars my request to add a another “folder” in iobroker “variables” with all “readonly = false” variables.

May i use them more then others? 🤔

Yep, thats the problem the script ignores my “real” variables and get just the devices with there attributes but it seems that is has also read the variables but will not progress them because it is no device.

But i dont get it how there get the data because in the connection function there build a strange url like this "http://pimaticip:port/?username=user@password=password
(i think it wars a @ im not sure)

I tried this url with my login i got in the browser only a box for entering my login.

I wars aspecting that there build a url with" api/device/ but there is only one line with it… And i think thats for changing the states.

And all the functions have parameters like “devices” but i dont understand where there get this array or what ever there use.

First my plan wars to just copy the syncdevices function and change every “device” to “variables” but i dont know if there really get them. Because i cant just change the url from /api/devices to /api/variables/

The url doesn’t work because the username:password comes after the http://username:password@pimaticip:port/api…
or if its a parameter the @ isnt the parameter separtor it should be , or ;

Yep i know how the api works i do this in the moment via curl… But look in there connection function in the main.js there build a other url or maybe i understand it wrong because of my java skill.

In the connect function of main.js the websockets url is http://ip:port/?username=<username>&password=<password>
This url can’t be used for http requests!
