Hi, the setpoint temperature is synced to the room temperature.
I discovered that it sometimes takes some time to sync the 2 values and going out and in the device, in the Google Home app, solved that problem.

New plugin pimatic-gBridge
-
Hi, nice! I will go for a test. Thx for the update!
-
Work better now.
-
The fears have come true! https://about.gbridge.io/notice/
Really a pity. Hopefully the latest version will find its way to git and everyone how like to use it can install it locally.
-
That’s too bad but not unexpected.
The self installation is already possible but you need a always-on public accessible server. Installing and running that is not my hobby.
There is an alternative via node-red and nora. -
My system is always on and accessable. I will give it a try.
Would be nice when Google would implement such a interface to there assistent. -
@ortin for now nodered with Nora is working absolutely fine so let’s hope it stays that way, at least until I get a local system running
-
The gBridge service stopped and the gBridge plugin is obsolete (unless you have build your own gBridge sever)
I created an alternative by using Nora without Node-red.
The new plugin is pimatic-assistant -
I really don’t know why, but for me gBridge is still running. But how ever thx for the alternative.
-
Ok, when you go to the main page of gBridge you see the service is stopped. I can login but for the free plan the max number of devices is limited to 0. Thats not usable anymore and thats why the plugin is not working anymore for me.
For existing paying customer the service could still work, but till when?If you got some time, it would help if you could test the new plugin.

I am on a paying account. Seems this is still on duty. Will see how long. But currently it works fine as before.
Wasn’t Nora user limited somehow? I will check your plugin as soon I find time for it. Currently Corona generates more work for me…
