Echo Plugin does not support vowel anymore
My alexa does not recognize my device with vowel (german: Umlaut [ä, ö ,ü]) correct. It transforms the vowel in some strings like Ö or something. This is hard to spell if my kitchen light should go (Küchenlicht). This works some days ago, is this an Amazon “feature” or on the plugin site?

@TeeS what happens if you name the device “kuechenlicht”?
Might be possible to encode umlauts when sending the device name to alexa from pimatic. I have to look into this.
@quotschmacher i tried it, but it does not work, i have to spell it like its written ue and not ü.
“Ladegerät”, “Lüfter” and “Verstärker” are working for me, don´t have to spell it “ue” or “ae”…
“Küche” also still seems to work for me
… hmm it actually is the room in alexa that is “Küche” which has one light in it so it works whatever the name of that light is. “Alexa schalte das Licht in der Küche an” and the Echo in the Kitchen is assigned to that room so saying “Alexa Licht an” is sufficient
@thex I will try this Workaround. The problem is, that a goup can not be part of another group. If i want to deactivate the kitchenlight and the livingroom light and put this in a group together, this will not be possible.
Maybe Amazon provided an update and it will work like before, i will check this from time to time.
It looks like this in Amazon Alexa center. I tried it multiple times but nothing changed till now.

@michbeck100 what should be the correct encoding? It looks like my config is UTF-8 encoded.
@tees I would say UTF-8 should be correct. On what type of system is your pimatic running? A standard raspberry?
@michbeck100 Yes it runs on an raspbery pi 3 with rasbian.
@all is there anyone having the same issues?
