I was not able to get this switches running with the “learning mode of pimatic”, any tips or help ?
Unfortunately the “how to” articles do not cover the learning mode (aka. device discovery) for 433 Mhz devices. Generally it should work as follows.
- Make sure the remote is paired with the sockets you have (depending on the mode you have either DIP switch/turn-wheel configuration or product-specific learning mode)
- Login into pimatic UI and open the Settings / Devices page
- Now, click on the “Discover Devices” button in the upper right corner of the UI.
- When he discovery mode has started press a button on the remote.
- After the discovery period has passed (20 seconds) you should see a list of candidate devices discovered. There may be multiple candidates for your socket. Suitable candidates should use a switch<N> protocol. Add the device which appears to be must applicable and give it a try. If the device works as expected (it is possible to change the socket state from pimatic, status changes performed with the remote are reflected in pimatic) you can repeat the discovery for the other sockets.
When i try this, i get no info.
I use the debug modus of homeduino, then i get this bunch of cryptic number
