Tasmota energy device (Watts etc), how to get the values

Sorry, another question about a MQTT device.
I still don’t realy understand it…

I bought a wifi switch with measuring the energy usage:

The device shows the values:

In the device I see:

I want some of this values displayed in the Pimatic gui.

How do I get the wanted value (for example Current) in Pimatic?

And second question, how can I reset the value “Total” to 0.

Ok, I now know that MQTT give a hierarchical json string and the plugin can handle that.

The json string is:

To get this string I think the topic is:
stat/sonoff2/STATUS 8 (in the console I get the json string with this topic)

So my config (to get the “Current”) now is:

I got it working with anonther topic:
stat/sonoff2/STATUS

This gives the json string:

With the device configured like:

“name”: " Status.Module",
“topic”: “stat/sonoff2/STATUS”,

I get the result “55”.

So I understand now how it works.

But it doesn’t work for the values I need with json result

Is it the space in the topic (without space it also doesn’t work)? But I need that space and the 8 to get the result with the needed value.

@lschip Please format your posts properly. They’re difficult to read and copying snippets from your posts will lead to errors in some cases as the rendered HTML contains some funky characters like the curly quotes instead of straight quotes and such.

Your device configuration does not work due to spelling errors. Instead of ENERGIE use ENERGY.

Regarding your question how to reset the value “Total” to 0 this can be done with the following command. I am not sure if such commands can also be triggered remotely.

To be honnest, I don’t know when to use tele , stat or cmnd.

"Beside results initiated by a command (synchronous) you can get asynchronous results initiated by rule trigger, telemetry event, commands from other source or changed device values. Simply put, other messages may precede messages published as a result of your commands.

• a tele/%topic%/STATUS message (sent every 300 seconds by default) may appear exactly after you issue Power off command and before you receive stat/%topic%/RESULT = {“POWER”:“OFF”} message."

It should be possible to execute EnergyReset3 remotely using a http request. Replace <IP of sonoff> with the IP address or hostname of the device on your network. If you enter the URL in your web browser it should prompt a page with the operation result, similar to the following: {"EnergyReset":{"Total":0.000,"Yesterday":5.500,"Today":2.000}}

http://<IP of sonoff>/cm?cmnd=EnergyReset3%200

• EnergyReset1: 0…42500 = (§re)set Energy Today in Wh
