npm version 6.9.0 is not supported by ppm

By accident while installing something irrelevant to pimatic i upgrated npm and now i get errors and can’t install plugins.
I did run npm install -g npm@2 but no change…
Ok. After many tries and various install - uninstall commands with the last sudo npm install pimatic --prefix pimatic-app --production problem solved.
Weird…I just realize that database in gui interface acts strange…
Column count shows nothing…No other problem. It gets bigger and bigger as the days pass, normally. Any thoughts what might causing this ?

So, which npm version do you now have installed?
Regarding the DB problem please check the log for errors. Please also check the size of the DB file. Possibly some device is running wild.

:~ $ npm -v 6.4.1 is working for me. DB size is only 12 mb, since my new installation with node 10.15.3.

My zwave usb is not plugged to rpi for now…and i thought that these errors comes from it.
Deactivated the plugin, restart pimatic and no more errors but same blank Column count.

As soon as i change the zwave usb port from /dev/ttyUSB{0} to /dev/ttyACM0 and plugged my z-stick everything works as expected, except the same blank Column count.

Maybe this must be written in the README of the plugin …
@bill-blacksoll That’s confusing as the plugin README gives an example for the plugin configuration using /dev/ttyUSB0. Maybe you can discuss the matter with @Tim, the plugin developer. So, maybe it can be clarified in which cases the device is /dev/ttyACM0 or how the user should figure which device address to use.

With the latest update to 0.9.50 Column count of database is ok
