Trigger by url

Is there a way to trigger a switch by url (_GET)? like http://192.168.1.50/switch1/on or something like that?

With this app you can quick toggle a light or something in the today screen with a url.

You can talk to the API

Can’t find how to trigger. if i go to http://192.168.1.50/api/devices/nachtlamp-wiebe i can see data, but what then?

Well, i tried to add it but there’s a problem. I have to login when i’m using that url in safari. But if i add the url to the app i can’t trigger it because i’m not logged in. How can i trigger it without logging in?

Edit: Got it:

http://user:password@192.168.1.50/api/device/bank/turnOn

Tried the app and its great! I can toggle it by the widget or even when i’m on a specific location (entering or leaving).

in my opinion information like that should be easier to find on the website! pimatic is so great, but i think i dont even use 100% of it capabilities!

i guess you will never do so, pimatic is almost unlimited

eh, short question:
i am testing some things and i just cant get the api working.
when i type
http://user:passwd@192.168.1.47:5000/api/devices/SchalterWohnzimmer/turnOff
in Chrome, Safari or even terminal i always get the error
Cannot GET /api/devices/SchalterWohnzimmer/turnOff
I really have no idea what i am doing wrong.
Ideas?
