Error: spawn ENOMEM

Get this error with my pimatic. I don’t understand what this exactly mean. No Memory? I get this with all Shell devices.

After a time pimatic stop working without error. Debug flag is set.

I set swap higher from 100mb to max 2048 but if i check swap with free -h there was enough swap. I use other programs in background and they are all running without any problems. I can’t find anything related with pimatic. Only with node.js.

I don’t use SD Card. SSD is in action. And i have this issue since 2 weeks. It works for two or three days and then stop.

After increasing swap to 2048 it seems to be ok now.

Which plugins are you using? If it really is the memory/swap then one of the plugins might have a memory leak.
I would sugest to set up system monitoring in pimatic (https://pimatic.org/plugins/pimatic-sysinfo/) then you can see if ram usage continuously increases.

That is one of my thinkings too. But daemon.log don’t tell me which plugin make this error… Today Netatmo plugin doesn’t work. I must restart Pimatic.

Ok so memory looks not great but the raspberry should have 1gb RAM - video memory.

How big is your video memory set?

Next step would be to disable one plugin at a time and closely watch if the memory consumption is not rising anymore.

In general think about which plugin has been added lately and which plugin handles devices which produce many updates.

I will check this and work down your list.

Memory was 64, but i don’t need so much memory i reduce this to 16. I don’t use any GUI nor desktop things.

The latest plugin i remember was, led-light.

Spam… OK so i found my next issue… One MySensors i’ve created by myself is not well. Sends every time Data and spam so many data. I switch off this device and now the ram is just fine…
