Homeduino USB error (ch341 / ESPimaticRF)
Hi,
I use ESPimatic to extend the range of my 433Mhz ‘network’. I have had a lot of issues with stability lately and am searching for the source of the trouble.
After doing ‘dmesg’ in raspbian I get a list of USB activity of sorts and I noted this error
[ 9745.920512] ch341-uart ttyUSB0: usb_serial_generic_read_bulk_callback - urb stopped: -32
Does someone know what it means and what I could try to resolve it?
(should this be posted under bugs? I guess not… )

Unfortunately, I don’t know much about the matter either. But maybe this will help you.
You could try the nuclear option - add dwc_otg.speed=1 to /boot/cmdline.txt - this forces the entire bus to USB1.1 speeds. If you still get disconnects after that, then it’s probably safe to say that the Pi isn’t the issue.

Forcing the use of usb1.1 is just a bandaid, not a real fix.
Look at a pipe as if it is a connection from point a to point c, where point b is a buffer. When you write to the buffer and point c ends the connection, it results in your error, a broken pipe. Correct me if im wrong.
Do you have any more debug data?
