Hi community,
today I wrote a small plugin for retrieving actual gasoline prices. Feedback is highly welcome.

New plugin - [pimatic-tankerkoenig]
Hi community,
today I wrote a small plugin for retrieving actual gasoline prices. Feedback is highly welcome.

I’ve been waiting for something like this, where can we find it?
I had to unpublish the first version and am only allowed to publish one version every 24 hours.
I will release a new version tomorrow.
If you won’t wait, install it from github

Another solution based on node-red had been posted a couple of months ago.

Yes, plugins for pimatic are only refreshed over night (See: https://forum.pimatic.org/topic/1986/new-plug-pimatic-mochad-simple).
But a
npm install pimatic-tankerkoenig
from pimatic-app folder will do the trick
Ok, installed and I made the device. What should i put in config.json to load the plugin?
Did you read the Readme.md?
config.json doesn’t need anything special.
{
"plugin": "tankerkoenig",
"active": true
},
One little mistake is in the readme. The interval attribute of the device needs to be a number, not a string.
Yup, it’s not in there? I only see instructions to make the device itself
@saxnpaule tnx! I got it working now, very nice!
How do i correct the interval attribute of the device from string to number?
Remove the quotes
Would it be possible to make an attribute for the cheapest place (open at the moment) to get fuel?
That way i could send a message to my phone:
‘Fuel prices have dropped/hiked/changed, best price is now $gasprices.e5Min at $gasprices.Location’
Yes this is possible, but there need to be three locations. One for each type of fuel.
This is awesome. Thank you very much.
And by the way: according to your choosen gas stations we are living less than a few hundred meters apart
version 0.0.4 released 2018-08-23
Excellent, thanx!
There seems to be a digit missing in the timestamp: ‘Stand: 14:1 Uhr’
