@mwittig Finally I got a first version implemented. Feel free to test it. It’s pushed to the master branch in GIT: https://github.com/saxn-paule/pimatic-wunderground

New plugin [pimatic-wunderground]
-
@SaxnPaule can you have a look at my config? Are ther some misconfigurations?
Plugin conf
{ "debug": true, "plugin": "wunderground", "active": true },
Device config
{ "apiKey": "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx", "lang": "DL", "interval": 30, "id": "wetter", "name": "Wetter in Stuttgart", "class": "WundergroundDevice", "city": "Gablenberg", "days": "1", "country": "Germany" }
Thank you
-
That looks good so far. Do you have the latest version installed?
The weather is also reloaded on page reload. If you refresh your browser every minute, a reqest is done as well.Could you please provide the log from during night, when you were sleeping?

version 0.1.0 released 2018-03-25
- Provided heatindex as a variable
- Provided dewpoint as a variable
-
@SaxnPaule sorry for the late reply. Everything is working fine. Perhaps it was just the page reload like you have mentioned. Thank you for your help and also the nice plugin.
Just one point of improvement, out of my opinion, is a more unstandable css file. It took me a while to reduce the size of the font and the icons. So maybe a scaleable size would be nice. But just an idea from my side.
-
You could overwrite the CSS by either editing the css file or by overwriting it via the css-inject plugin.
-
Yes, I did it this way (overwrite the css file) . But it took me a while to identify each parameter.
For my phone it was bit too big in comparison to the other devices. Therefore I changed your initial settings.
-
Mhh that’s strange. On my phone 5" FHD everything looks well.
-
@SaxnPaule
Nice plugin. everything works fine. Now i need to implement this in my Gui. Maybe u have an idea? -
What do you mean? The plugin already has a GUI part.
-
yes, its in the GUI on pimatic. But i have created an GUI on a tablet.
i was wondering how to get it in there. -
The “weather” variable holds the full html. Feel free to style it by your own.
-
@saxnpaule thanks for the reply. i will take a dive into it.

Hi all,
today i tried to use the new function “history device” in wunderground.
The device shows up on my status page but there are no values displayed. But if I go to my variables there are some values for my “histo device”.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Best regards,
Andréps. Thanks for your work on this plugin @SaxnPaule
-
Hi,
there is no frontend representation (yet) for the HistoryDevice. If you need one, please create a VariableDevice and refer to the shown variables.
-
Okay this was simple xD
Thanks for your fast reply! -
@Andre3000 Would this fit your requirements:
I could publish a version with this little change. But you will have to recreate your HistoryDevice.
-
Are you sure, that you have a HistoryDevice there? The weather string “Überwiegend bewölkt” shouldn’t be provided by the HistoryDevice.
There should only be three attributes, as you could see one post above.

Sorry for the confusion ^^
The first line show my openweather plugin for live weather data.
The second line “Wetter” shows the history weather device variables.btw. Your suggestion above would fit my requirements perfectly.

Well, give me just a view minutes.
