wired led spots solution

I’m helping my father with his new house. He ordered 100 12v led spots that he will install in the whole house. These spots are grouped to around 5-10 groups and they come all wired to a central point where pimatic is also installed.

Now i need a good way to dim these groups within pimatic. Best way is wired like USB or ethernet. Does someone know a good solution for this?

Arduino + Eth. shield + this shield.
It also works with the Wemos D1R1.
Both are controlled by MQTT.
For arduino I wrote the software. If you are interested, I will expose to github.

Of course, it can be connected directly to RPi.

I am going to use one of these to dim my 12v led lamp it is on its way from the “east”.

I already looked at, but i thought it needed a milight bridge? I thought it didn’t have wifi build in.

But if it has wifi, I would like to know

I also looked at some DMX dimmers, but need to find a way to control DMX with pimatic.

@sweebee They do not have wifi built in, so for wifi control you need indeed the bridge and I don’t know how many groups can controlled via the bridge.

@sweebee maybe you can control the DMX via the backdoor: node-red.

Solved it by using a relais board. dimming was not necessary.
