No variable in battery level rule?
Hello I have a problem, I have some MySensor battery sensors. This sensors sends there battery level and I want to set a rule who runs when this level is under a value.
But I don’t know the value now exactly so I want to set a variable so that I don’t have to change the value on all rules.
But the rule works only with a number, I can’t set a variable.
battery of door-contact-kuechenfenster < 85
Have I made a mistake or can @mwittig this be canged?

Do you want to have a variable for the battery threshold? For example
$batteryThreshold = 85
WHEN battery of door-contact-kuechenfenster < $batteryThreshold ..."It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.", Hofstadter's Law
If I do so:
when battery of door-contact-kuechenfenster < $low_batterie
it comes this error message:
Could not find an provider that decides next predikate of "battery of door-contact-kuechenfenster < $low_batterie"
In GUI Mode it also only allows me to give an number.
Maybee it has to do whith the mysensor plugin?

Can you say if this is a pimatic or mysensor-plugin issue?
I tested it also with homeduino devices and it is the same error.So I think it is a pimatic issue. As an alternative you can use the $id.attribute notation, this works for me. Please try
when $door-contact-kuechenfenster.battery > $low_batterie
(if the id is the ssame as the name in your example, otherwise use your device id of cause)
