Hello Pimatic’ers
i’ve searching a while to get push notifications to my google home device to …aahm… talk what i want when i want.
… no… bad introduction…
my google device should talk to me somethin i should know, triggered by pimatic. for my example if it’s colder outside than in my flat to open the windows.
Google Home didn’t support notifications yet but with an old Androidphone, Tasker, 2 Plugins (~3€) and Pushbullet they will talk…
my findings begins here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/u/tasker-tips-tricks/google-home-announce-incoming-t3579522
so follow part 1 and part 2 as described on xda
- Install Tasker and the 2 Plugins
- Import the Tasker Notifications.prf.xml into Tasker
then change the AutoCast speak text to “%antitlebig” only, in device choose Google Home and set the correct language.
in AutoNotificationIntercept Event Behavior choose Pushbullet and save it.
for testing i kick the “if %SILENT~ off” rule away and then in Pimatic the pushbullet-rules like
when temperature of livingroomtemperature >= 25 and ($outsidetemp.temperature-2) is less than $livingroomtemperature.temperature for 15 minutes and trigger: presence of anybodyathome = present
then
push title:"Draußen hat es nun $outsidetemp.temperature Grad, es ist somit kühler als herinnen bei $livingroomtemperature.temperature Grad" message:" "
works fine and GH says only the pushed title-message.
btw, for Amazon Echo i found a solution for Notifications on github too,
https://github.com/gravesjohnr/AlexaNotificationCurl
but i didn’t get them work
