Help requested with Front-end

Hi Guys,

i really hope someone can help me.

i have a plugin for The Open therm Gateway. (kind of themostat)
i got the basic functions working, but i don’t really like the default themostat gui.

But the big problem: i am really bad with HTML, and even worse when it comes to CSS/images

i hoped there might be someone who could help me with creating the GUI (i would be happy to make it compatible with other themostat plugin’s!)
as long as it comes to coding, i can fix it. but html/css gui’s really not

i know it is a bit bigger then the usual, but i think a themostat deserves the extra room

But i like the idea: teperature with up and down like that. Outside temp. Current temp. ect every thing in 1 nice view.

I’m personal pretty happy with the thermostat gui. But I’m open for new ideas and alternatives. @Fjux Could you do some sketch / mockup / paint shopping to specify your ideas?

i will create a smiple mockup, for all the info i need/want up there

Seems that my themostat has a lot more data then the Max thermostat. (or not yet implemented)

As i have 0 graphic skills i will just tell you what i am missing in the themostat at the moment.

• Outside temp
• room temp/current temp
• setpoint (already there)
• Flame on (icon)
• only 2 settings. Auto and manu/ (make Boost an option.)
• a graphic, but settable which values it uses (through options, like the guishowxxx)

i really liked the interface for the netfit thermostat.but not sure how this fits in you design

Would something like this be possible?

Because, is it really that bad if the app gets a bit bigger? A thermostat has a lot more then a simple on/off switch

is this something you can work with?
