Unfortunately, the guy who made the video did not share his findings with us. If you’re a familiar with python you can try to write a script based on https://github.com/mjg59/python-broadlink. There is also an Javascript implementation, but there is hardly no documentation for that and the implementation appears to be incomplete https://github.com/momodalo/broadlinkjs.
