Help, homeduino not working anymore [Solved]

Help.

All of a sudden, my homeduino configuration, that worked excellent for months, stopped working. I cannot figure out what could be wrong. I checked all wires and I replaced the Pi. Pimatic is working ok, only the 433mhz part is not working anymore. No signals received, no signals send. What can I do to recover from this?

Do you have a arduino as homeduino device or straight from GPIO?

Did you do any updates? System or pimatic updates?

Could you post your log after you execute sudo pimatic.js?

did you change anything on the pi? maybe plugged in an usb device?
as gleno0h said - do you use homeduino with an arduino or on the pi directly?
does receiving and sending not work anymore or just one of it?
Actually nobody of us has a crystal ball to look at
we need more input (debug data and error descrption) from you to help.

I have not changed anything. It just stopped working. Receiving and transmitting both stopped working. It worked flawlessly for over a year.

The transmitter and receiver are both directly connected to the GPIO of the Pi. There’s also a single wired ds18b20 connected (through the same breadboard, using same 3.3V and GND pins) wich is working normally.

I will try to upload log information this evening (tz GMT+2).

Hey there, i have the same issue since i do a apt upgrade today.
Everything is fine, but homeduino won’t switch my lights.

Start Log says this:

The new wiringX version is not compatible with pimatic-homeduino. You need to downgrade or wait for the problem to be fixed.

@ManuelW could you atleast try an older version? It doesnt work now anyway.

Hardware unsupported normaly means that homeduino wasnt compiled for that verseion, correct me if im wrong though

The one working for me is 2.32

@mwittig i can’t find 3.32 for download

I hoped this was my problem too, since I did an apt-get upgrade recently. But I’m still on 2.32.

BTW: does anyone know if the message “Unable to…” should concern me? Or is this just because I use a Pi3

@jee67 I have the problem on a Pi 2.
But, so i thing it is not a wiringpi version problem.
As i said, 2.36 works fine a long time on me pi.

Guys, the issue might be related to the kernel version you’re using. Can you please check, i.e. uname -r? If you have kernel version 4.9.x none of the aforementioned wiringPi version will work properly! You may need to pull the source and build it from source. Possibly, there also is an issue with the wiringPi node.js binding.

So i did an downgrade now and it is working

downgraded to the last Version of Decenber
