search for simple rule to let flash Milight Bridge

Hello, someone has an idea how man with a rule a lamp can flash?
I would like to have the Milight Bridge with a lamp flashing when a certain condition occurs.
A reset of the Milight Lamp I then want to do with an Amazon Dash Buton.
This works, only the blinking I get suffering is not.

Or is it possible to use the mode functions of the bridge? The functions that the Phone App offers. Just like on the picture.

But maybe you can setup a rule with the already given predicates/actions.
The following predicates and actions are supported:

{device} is turned on|off
switch {device} on|off
toggle {device}
dim {device} to {value}, where {Value} is the percentage of brightness (0-100)
milight set color {device} to {value}

@Thrusty I’ll add “blink” action to pimatic-milight-reloaded soon. Meanwhile a workaround for shorter interval, i.e. 3 flashes can be done as follows:

toggle milightDevice and toggle milightDevice after 1 s and toggle milightDevice after 2 s and toggle milightDevice after 3 s and toggle milightDevice after 4 s and toggle milightDevice after 5 s

The latest version of milight-reloaded includes the “blink” action. The timing of the blink interval is not always perfect, but should be sufficient for most applications. See README for details.

And after a new start I get furthermore indicated that an update to 0.9.7 is available.

Try to remove the plugin at the node_midules folder and restart pimatic. The plugin will install again. Maybe that helps

Hello, I have extinguished this plugin from the folder/pimatic-app/node_modules.
Unfortunately, it has not anew installed itself.
I have tried anew to instalieren the same error message comes there like before.
Then I also have plugin put registration in config. json extinguished. Also with the same result.

Even if it would be no solution, but how can I restore the plugin to version 0.9.6?
Because now I can switch none milight more.

@Thrusty I think your pimatic installation has been corrupted which has nothing to do with the plugin update. Please check the file system. You can also try to repair your pimatic installation as follows.

sudo service pimatic stop
cd /home/pi/pimatic-app/node_modules/pimatic
sudo rm -rf node_modules
sudo npm install --unsafe-perm
sudo service pimatic start
