[solved]GUI slow

Hi all,

I’m using a cheap Android tablet, hanging next to my wardrobe, to display the pimatic gui with “Fully Kiosk Browser”.
The Display is on 24/7.
For some reason the gui is getting slower and slower after some hours. Pushing a button takes some seconds before a reaction appears. Waiting additional hours will result in even more seconds…
The setup has worked well since early this year.
I already reset the tablet, updated the Android System Webview, tried to use an older version of Fully Kiosk Browser with no success.

The last two days I’ve displayed the google start page only, no problem occured

So i think, the problem could be inside pimatic or it’s gui.

Any suggestion what I can do?

What of you just use pimatic in the chrome browser? Does it still lag?
You can set a bookmark on the home screen to have the pimatic website react like an app

Ok, finally I could find the problem: I’m using two iframe devices to display a screenshot of two surveillance cameras.
When I deactivate these two devices the gui is fast!

Unfortunately not nice to hear but glad you found the issue. What if you open the url in the browser of the tablet, is it lagging too?

Yes, no difference when using another browser.
