Toggle rule with button

Hey,
I want to toggle a rule with a button
(For example:
If button1234 is pressed than toggle/activate/deactivate rule1234)

How does it work?
Please help me

You can´t toggle a rule.
But i think you want to trigger it.
Make a rule like:When 1234 is pressed then toggle something
This wouldt toggle a device with the name “something”

As an alternative you could set the button as a parameter for the rule to trigger: (in this example the dummy switch)
If event X happend AND dummy switch is ON then toggle something

you can toggle a rule when using the api
